Carol Estes, Acrylic Abstracts

Her work is currently in Occasions by Design in Scottsdale, Arizona and Delphia Dreams, Eureka Springs,Ark and now featured here a Desert Corn Gallery in Old Town albuquerque.
The artist's words reflect the affection she has for this language of painting. " I Love life, I believe life is not about art, but art is about life. I have heard it said that abstract art is not real...that is correct...it is more than real. It is all around us. It is spiritual, radical, violent, beautiful and as gentle as the changing skies. It is as unique as the puzzling anatomy and delicate balance of a flamingo...As real as You and I".
Lynda Berdine, Abstract
"My art is an expression of the inner self. Each of my paintings is the result after meditation. I try to capture the spiritual mystery of a human being. I try to express the explosion or the simplicity of the human emotions. My goal is the intermingling of the spiritual world and the earthly world. A splash of red, a splash of blue, a splash of turquoise, on canvas is like music to me. It flows and dances from my hand to the canvas."
Her original art is currently displayed in personal collections in Colorado, Florida, San Francisco, Los Angeles, New Mexico, and Wisconsin. Her work can be found at the Desert Corn Gallery in Historic Old Town Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Carol Shirley Glass Artist
For Carol, the appeal of glass fusing is seeing the different elements come together to make something uniquely beautiful. As she takes a variety of colors and textures and fires them at 1500 degrees, each piece releases its own character and design. Having choices ranging from soft transparent pastels to opaque with strong color gives limitless possibilities. Carol's expansion of her Southwest Crosses include accents of turquoise, wood, and metals complimented by color tones unique to Albuquerque's landscapes and sunsets. The Majestic quality of each piece of her art from The Land of Enchantment reminds one of the possibilities each new day holds.

TOM SADLER, INTERNATIONAL ARTIST
Sadler works in Oil because of their inherent versatility and permanence. He utilizes consistencies of paint that alternate from very transparent to very opaque. His glazing techniques imbue his work with an unmistakable sense of light. This depiction of light and its manifestations becomes the subject in most of Sadlers works. The light from the changing of seasons, times of day, or weather conditions are all fair game when what is often sought is the display of harmony between warm and cool color. Working from life, the artist is also preoccupied with capturing the color and atmosphere that the landscape suggests. He is especially driven to paint motifs that contain water or inherently possess some other timeless quality. To view more of Toms work please visit www.tomsadler.com
