Larry Sisneros, Spanish Colonial Silver Smith
Larry was born and raised south of Rabbit Ear Mountain, which was named after Chief Rabbit Ear; A Comanche Chief who fought against the settlers traveling west on the Santa Fe Trail, and the Spanish in North Eastern region of New Mexico. His ancestry is Spanish, Cherokee and Taos. Larry has been making jewelry for the past two decades. His jewelry has sold world wide, with pieces marketed at the National Hispanic Cultural Center and now here at Desert Corn Gallery in Old Town Albuquerque. Larry loves to do stamp work and unique pieces that resemble jewelry brought by the first Spaniards to this territory. His contemporary pieces have a twist of Native American and a Rich Latino Design that makes them collectables.
